Today, I thought I'd write about one use for AI that has been quite valuable to me.
Monday through Friday I'm mostly focused on getting things done at work. I've been doing my job for a long while and I've got it mostly under control. However on weekends I have random things that happen only every so often. Buy and program a new garage remote. Organize sock drawer. Prepare to start a new project the coming week. Figure out how to set up some new speakers.
These are all things where I have some idea of what I should be doing, but I might not know exactly where to start of how to be good or efficient at it.
I've started simple going through my list of things-for-the-day and asking a chatbot for steps to do them, and things to bear in mind. Sometimes I'll find a new nugget of information or something I hadn't considered. But even if that's not the case, the explicit structure and breakdown is also a nice little motivational boost, as it makes it easy to see how to get from one point to another in a straightforward way.
All in all, a pretty great tool to get a bit more effective and make things a bit easier.
Happy task breakdowns!
PS: I'm keeping a collection of prompts that have been helpful as I go on this journey.
