Outdoor Wood Care

So you have a piece of wooden furniture or something of the sort that you keep outside - on a deck, garden or balcony. Rainy weather will get it wet, sunny weather will hit it with UV rays, insects might bore into it, and if it touches the ground it will also have a healthy colony of bacteria eating away at it (rotting, as it were).
